Terms of sale

1. Seller and scope

Licences and subscriptions purchased through this e-commerce service are sold and invoiced by SOLUSOFT Srls. SETEC Informatica Srls remains the company identified in the website footer, but is not the seller of these purchases. For order administration contact amministrazione@solusoftsrl.it; for product support contact staff@caddrag.com.

These terms cover purchases on the caDDrag website by consumers and business customers. A consumer purchases for purposes outside their trade or profession. Mandatory consumer protections prevail over any conflicting provision.

2. Products, orders and payment

The official tax invoice is issued separately by SOLUSOFT Srls, manually through its existing accounting software using the customer’s billing details. Stripe documents and summaries confirm payment and do not replace the official tax invoice. The website does not automatically issue or transmit tax invoices to Italy’s Sistema di Interscambio; administration handles issuance and transmission under the applicable procedure.

The three products can also be purchased separately. An account is required. Before paying, check the product, seat count, term, technical compatibility, billing details and total. The contract is concluded when the order is confirmed following successful payment. Keep the order summary and email confirmation.

List prices are in euros, excluding VAT. Discounts, applicable taxes and the total due are shown before payment confirmation. VAT depends on billing details and the applicable tax treatment, not solely on the country. Stripe processes payment using the methods offered at checkout. Billing and tax details must be complete and accurate.

3. Term and activation

Subscriptions last 12, 24 or 36 months according to the selected plan and are paid in advance for the entire term. They are not perpetual licences. After payment confirmation, the backend issues the purchased licences. Serial numbers, seats and expiry dates are available in the customer area and sent by email. If delivery fails, contact support with your order number instead of immediately purchasing again.

4. Automatic renewal and cancellation

Purchasing activates automatic renewal for periods of the same length, charged to the authorised payment method managed by Stripe. The next renewal date, subscription status and payment method can be viewed in the subscription portal linked from the customer area. Price changes for future periods must be communicated before renewal and do not alter a period already paid for.

Turn off renewal from Customer area → Purchase and manage licences → Manage subscription. Complete cancellation before the renewal date; we recommend at least 24 hours in advance. If the portal is unavailable, email staff@caddrag.com with your account and subscription details. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not interrupt the paid term or constitute a withdrawal or refund request. Statutory notice requirements and remedies for automatically renewed contracts remain unaffected.

5. Expiry, renewals and seats

If renewal is not paid, the licence remains expired and does not authorise software use beyond the paid term; it stays visible in the customer area. A later renewal updates the licence after payment for the term and seats confirmed in the summary, keeping the serial number. At renewal you may retain or reduce seats using the available options.

Seats can be added to an active licence from the customer area. Before payment, the prorated charge for the remaining term is shown with amounts and taxes. New seats use the same serial number and expiry date as the existing licence. The summary also shows the effect on the next renewal; seats are updated only after payment.

6. Licence and permitted use

The licence grants a non-exclusive right to use the purchased product for the purchased term and number of seats, without transferring software ownership. Sharing serials with unauthorised third parties, bypassing access limits or reselling without authorisation is prohibited, subject to mandatory rights. Customers must protect credentials and use photos and data lawfully, respecting third-party rights.

Check module requirements on the product and Download pages. caDDrag Desktop requires a compatible CAD platform; its CAD licence is not included. Online services and licence verification may require Internet access. The software supports technical work but does not replace the user's professional checks and responsibilities. Keep backups of your data.

7. Consumer right of withdrawal

Consumers can generally withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason. Statutory withdrawal is different from cancelling renewal. Send an explicit statement to staff@caddrag.com or the seller’s address, stating your name, account email, order number or serial, and purchase date. Sending the statement within the deadline is sufficient; the model below is optional.

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, loss of withdrawal requires supply to begin, prior express consent to early performance, acknowledgement of losing the right, and the confirmation required by law. Registration, payment or sending a serial number alone does not constitute that consent. Digital services may follow different rules: starting early does not automatically remove withdrawal during an ongoing subscription. The conditions and limits of consumer law apply.

8. Refunds and business purchases

Cancelling renewal or simply not using the software does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund for the paid period. This does not exclude refunds due for valid withdrawal, incorrect charges, non-delivery, non-conformity or other mandatory rights. Following valid consumer withdrawal, reimbursement is made without undue delay and generally within 14 days of notification, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed at no cost.

Purchases made for business or professional purposes do not qualify for the consumer right of withdrawal. No voluntary change-of-mind refund is offered unless otherwise agreed in writing; legal remedies for breach remain available. 9. Support, conformity and liability

For activation or operating issues, contact staff@caddrag.com with the product, version, environment and problem. Legal guarantees for digital content and services remain applicable, including updates needed to maintain conformity where required. Consumers retain statutory remedies, including restoring conformity, a price reduction or termination when the relevant conditions are met. No clause excludes liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Data, changes and applicable law

Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Before expiry, check the options for exporting your work: cancellation does not itself promise unlimited data retention. The terms applicable to an order are the version presented for that order; later changes do not remove acquired rights.

Italian law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence where applicable. Consumer disputes remain subject to the legally competent court; no different exclusive jurisdiction is imposed.
